General Rules

GENERAL RULES
Welcome to the Outta My Head forum.
Here are some rules you will have to obey whilst being a member of this forum:
1. No bashing/insulting
Please respect the other members on this forum. Treat everyone as new friends - be nice. Bashing another member will not be tolerated here.
2. Personal information.
We understand that members might develop a close friendship on this forum. But please be aware of the information you give out. Risk giving out personal information if you please - it is not our job to stop you. This is just a warning. But what is yours stays yours.
3. Reporting a member.
If you find that someone is violating the rules, you can report him/her by PMing the administrator of the board, iceice;ashlee. The administrator will then look further into it and take it from there. Don't be afraid to report someone - the reporter will not be revealed. You can trust us.
4. Becoming a moderator
You don't have to have a certain number of posts to become one. To be selected as a moderator, you just have to be good and obey rules on OMH. If the administrator finds that you can qualify as a moderator, she will PM you regarding it. It is your choice to accept or decline the offer. But if you yourself want to volunteer as a moderator, just PM the administrator, iceice;ashlee, and she will look further into it and see if you can qualify. You can also request for someone to become a moderator. Just PM the administrator regarding it.
5. Signature
You can edit your signature by clicking the Profile icon on top and then going to signature.
We don't have an exact size on how you big your signature has to be, but please try not to have really big pictures and text in your signature. It can get a bit annoying sometimes.
6. Spamming
Spamming is not allowed on this forum. Please do not create multiple accounts. If there is a problem with your account, let the administrator know. Also, do not spam on posts. You are allowed to BUMP a topic if it isn't active, but please refrain from posting one or two word posts such as 'lol' or 'yeah' or anything along those lines.
7. Posting/Starting a new topic.
Please be considerate and think twice before posting or starting a new topic. If you are not sure if there already is a related topic to what you want to post, please search the forum or go back a few pages before starting a new topic. Topics which are repeated will be deleted. Also, please post in the correct categories. If you are unsure of which category your desired topic belongs in, please ask the moderators or the administrator.
8. Deleted/Moved topics
Topics which are in the wrong forum will be moved into the correct forum. If you see that a topic you have created has disappeared, please look into other topics to check before starting a new one again. PM the administrator or the moderators if you have any questions about this. Remember, we will only delete topics within valid reason, be it inappropriate information or repeated topics.
9. Suspension/Banning
If a member violates the rules, he/she will be giving a first warning, and then a second. If he/she continues to harass the people on the board, don't make any effort to be nice or if he/she violates the rules, he/she will either be suspended or banned. It depends on the seriousness of his/her fault.
This post will be edited if there are any new rules.
